Press Conference 101 (from Zootopia)

Does this sound familiar? Probably because you’ve heard it done countless times, by celebrities and politicians, anyone who feels confident enough in the interview to know they can answer any question they want, even their own.

This is a great tactic for getting out of a question you don’t want to answer in a live interview scenario.

Here’s a transcript:

HOPPS: Rrrgh. I am so nervous...

NICK: Okay, press conference 101: You wanna look smart? Answer their question with your own question and then answer that question. Like this, "Excuse me. Officer Hopps, what can you tell us about the case?" (pretending to be Hopps) "Well, was this a tough case? Yes. Yes it was." You see?
